When you want to get your first indoor plants, you’ll probably be attracted to orchids. They are soooo beautiful. But they also require special care. If you don’t know anything about orchids, you’ll need to read a few books or maybe get college essay writing help for a summarized manual. That’s too complicated for a beginner. 

Anthurium is just as beautiful! This plant has attractive heart-shaped flowers that last for months. You’ll just need the right soil (half and half mix of orchid soil and potting soil), and the right spot. The anthurium doesn’t like direct sunlight, and it doesn’t want frequent watering. 

Opuntia microdasys (Bunny Ears Cactus)

You want the easiest houseplants for beginners? Get a cactus! Opuntia Microdasys, commonly known as bunny ears cactus, is really beautiful. When it’s healthy, it looks like the plant is having fun, and it can make you smile. 

It’s a cactus, so it needs tons of sunshine and a little water. You can propagate it by planting a few of its “ears” separately. If it likes its environment, this cactus may award you with bloom.   

Sansevieria trifasciata (Snake Plant)

It’s commonly known as the Snake Plan, but many people also know it as the Mother-In-Law’s Tongue. Funny, huh? It’s a great plant for improving indoor air quality, since it can absorb airborne toxins. But it also looks amazing and it’s easy to take care of. 

It requires indirect sunlight and little maintenance.

Put the Peace Lily next to the Flamingo Flower, and you’ll have a beautiful assembly in your living room. This is a beautiful plant with white flowers and rich green leaves. If you follow the sun safety tips and provide the little water that it needs, it will stay healthy for years to come.

This one is nothing short of impressive. Aside from the regular watering and occasional pruning, the plant doesn’t require extra care. The Dracaena can grow really tall and gorgeous, so it will become the focal point in your living room. 

Did You Choose Your Beginner Plants?

Indoor plants are a great responsibility. When you get them, you have to pay attention to their wants and needs. Each of them has its own character, but also requires special care.
