It's a good thing that each of these Supersweet 100 plants produces hundreds of delicious, extra-sweet, 1 oz., bite-sized tomatoes, because you'll want to pop one in your mouth every time you pass by. Each long cluster can produce up to 100 tomatoes or more and continues to bear until the first fall frost. The beautiful ruby red fruits are loaded with Vitamin C. Tell the kids (and the other grown-ups) that it's just like candy from the garden. An improvement of the favorite Sweet 100 tomato, it has a sweeter flavor and disease resistance to Verticillium and Fusarium (race 1) wilt. This indeterminate tomato gets several feet tall and should be staked or caged. Fruits begin to mature in 65 days. This packet plants around 20 plants.

When to plant outside: Generally started indoors, tomatoes can also be directly seeded outside! Sow in spring, after the average last spring frost and when soil temperatures reach 60 degrees. In warm winter/hot summer areas of the south, southwest, and parts of California, they can also be planted in early fall for winter harvest.

When to start inside: 6-8 weeks before the average last spring frost.

Special Germination Instructions: when transplanting seedlings outside, bury the roots and stem up to the first set of leaves horizontally. Curve the stem above the ground to a vertical position. The stem will sprout roots and develop a strong root system.
