These will also ample space for all the little plants and other fairy garden accessories like fairies, gnomes, etc. In addition, a fairy garden of this kind is also to move around and easy to make subtle changes to it, so your kids will always be happy to see something new now and then.

Birdbaths

Birdbaths are also ideal for a fairy garden. As these things are elevated, you can also place them in any kind of flower bed of your choice and still see the tiny trees, furniture, and the fairy house.

 Succulents

If you don’t have any unused or broken flower pots or a birdbath, but plenty of succulents around your backyard, then you make a nice garden from it.  Landscaping

You’re probably aware that some of the best fairy gardens out there are married into the landscaping of people’s homes. It’s also incredibly easy. Just place a tiny door and some small flower pots at the base of a tree and instantly transform the spot into a veritable fairy house. You can get also design your fairy garden after the landscaping of your own backyard. Just make a mini version of it by adding artificial sponge grass, a pool, some decks, some furniture, etc. Your kids will love it.

If you don’t have much space to spare in your patio, you can make your fairy garden by doubling your existing herb garden. It’s a win-win combination as the herbs will do the landscaping and the cute fairy house and other fairy accents will beautify the herbs.

 Children’s Fairy Stories

Can’t think of a nice, unique layout for your fairy garden? Get some inspiration from your children’s favorite fairy books. Just pick a location from the books and try to replicate it in a small form. It doesn’t matter if your fairy garden looks like Shire (The Lord of the Rings) or the ones from Narnia, either way, you kids will go bonkers when they’ll see that your garden relates to their favorite books.
